Innovations in equipment technology have enabled greater materials processing and performance capabilities, resulting in advancements in magnetic recording media both in areal density growth and in transition from LMR to PMR and beyond (Patterned media or HAMR). Intevac has been in the forefront of media equipment technology throughout all major media technology breakthroughs.
