Mark H. Kryder, Senior Vice President, Research and Chief Technical Officer, Seagate Technology

Dr. Mark Kryder is Seagate's senior vice president, research and chief technology officer. Kryder joined Seagate as senior vice president, research in 1998 and built Seagate Research into the leading industrial research laboratory in the field of data storage technology. Prior to coming to Seagate, Kryder was a founding director of the Data Storage Systems Center at Carnegie Mellon University and was a member of the research staff at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.
