A Novel Test Approach to Meet High Volume Testing Requirements for Today and Tomorrow’s Media

As the density of media continues to increase, so do the requirements for reliability and performance. Testing of media continues to represent a significant cost in both yield and capital dollars to both media and drive companies. Media companies continue to seek new approaches to testing to meet both increased throughput and performance requirements while reducing the overall cost of test. This presentation will review an optical test technology under development designed to meet these new requirements.
