Jeff Donnelly is the Vice President and General Manager of the Growth and Emerging Markets Division (GEM) of KLA-Tencor. GEM consists of three product groups: Candela - surface inspection systems for disk and wafer, Diamond - test systems for the hard disk drive industry, and the Surface Metrology Division (SMD) - surface profilers for a variety of applications.

Jeff is on his second tour with the company, with four years in his current role and eight years total with KLA-Tencor. Between tours, Jeff was an entrepreneur in the equipment and software industries, with experience in starting companies and raising venture financing. Prior to joining the high-tech world, Jeff was a nuclear engineering officer in the U.S. Navy. He holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Cal Poly and and an MBA from Stanford.
