Luke Marusiak, Chief Operating Officer, Intevac

Luke Marusiak joined Intevac as COO in April 2004 after 13 years with Applied Materials in various operations and product positions. Prior to Intevac, Luke was heading North American Field and Business Operations for Applied Materials. Luke is also a US Army and Desert Storm veteran who served seven years as a Signal officer before joining Applied Materials. He holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University and an M.S. in Teleprocessing Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Intevac is the leader in thin film deposition technology for the hard disk industry. The MDP-250B enjoys the highest install base of sputtering equipment and the 200 LeanTM is the company's next generation system for perpendicular processing. Intevac has also taken the lead in designing lean machines that offer higher rates of process utilization, better throughput and a reduced total cost of ownership.
